The Center for Facial Pain and Sleep Medicine at Texas A&M College of Dentistry provides diagnosis and treatment for patients with disorders of the jaw joint (temporomandibular joint disorders or TMD), which may include jaw joint pain, jaw popping or clicking, difficulty eating and/or opening and closing the mouth.

Patients with headaches and/or neck pain disorders, other facial pains, and atypical toothaches or other mouth pain likewise receive expert care at the center.

Additionally, Center clinicians work with physician colleagues to provide screening and treatment for sleep-related breathing disorders, including sleep apnea and snoring.

Beyond patient care, the center’s mission encompasses teaching and conducting research in the areas of pain and sleep. The facility is located on the first floor of of the College in room 169.
