The Center of Excellence Oral Health Conference annually affords the center and the college the opportunity to address issues which impact underserved populations/communities. These issues include:
health disparities,
- cultural competence in provision of health care,
- health policy,
- health care access,
- social determinants of health, and
- diversity in the health professions.
Experts in their respective fields are invited as speakers for these conferences.
We proudly offer this Conference to faculty, staff and students as well as dental and other health professionals from the greater Dallas Community.
