College seeks patients for novel implant study
Study to gather data for the FDA on a new implant system
Researchers at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry are conducting a study to gather data for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on the REPLICATE Immediate Tooth Replacement System.
The REPLICATE System, currently for sale only in Europe, uses 3D data to create an anatomical copy of the patient’s natural tooth. It is 100% customized for each patient inserted immediately after extraction.
Metabolomic Salivary Biomarkers for Oral Cancer Detection
Help Support Oral Cancer Research
Around 24,000 men and women are diagnosed with oral cancer in the US each year; and as many as 5,300 will die. Oral cancer patients know it affects all of life: eating, drinking, talking -- even overall health.
Our research needs help from all people, especially those diagnosed with oral cancer, gum disease (periodontitis) or oral lichen planus by a one-time collection of saliva.
