Continuing Dental Education

CE participantsContemporary health professions are marked by constant technological changes, innovations in health care delivery, new clinical procedures and an ever-increasing social awareness.

Such changes have accentuated the need for the professional to remain abreast of new developments by accepting the fundamental and lifelong responsibility for continuous study.

As a part of its obligation to the practicing profession, the Texas A&M College of Dentistry vigorously supports continuing dental education and offers a full range of programs.

Lectures, seminars and electronic distance learning about topics of current interest to dentists and dental auxiliaries are taught by dental school faculty and other respected professionals.

ADA CERP Provider logosADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.

Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to ADA CERP at

Greetings Alumni:

We are pleased to share with you an exciting development from the Office of Advancement, Communications & Alumni Relations at College of Dentistry. You can read college news and updates on your alma mater's web publication, Dentistry Insider.

This publication was created with our college's community in mind. In one centralized news hub, Dentistry Insider content includes information that formerly was found in the Dental Record Online, NewsStand as well as news articles and features from the college's magazine, the Dental Journal, which remains in print format.

Dentistry Insider provides the same quality coverage as always with several distinct enhancements, including:

  • daily/weekly postings, so you receive frequent, up-to-date information
  • responsive design, so you can read college news articles on your computer, mobile device or tablet with ease
  • weekly emails and RSS feed subscriptions, so you can be the first to know when college developments break

All graduates become full members of the  College of Dentistry Alumni Association.

The  Alumni Association provides a variety of opportunities for alums to stay connected with the school and each other.  To find out more about the College of Dentistry Alumni Association and how you get involved, visit the association’s website at or call the alumni relations office at the college at 214.828.8202.
